is a pediatric therapy clinic.
We provide speech therapy, physical therapy, and occupational therapy to children.
We are looking for an organized and experienced individual to join our team as an intake coordinator.
Work Hours between 8.
00 to 6.
30 pm (required to work through 6.
30pm at least 3 of the five days) Optimize schedules and manage therapist caseloads Complete intake with new patient families, schedule initial evaluation, and coordinate ongoing speech, occupational and physical therapy services for children.
Obtain, verify insurance benefits, and create EMR records for the patient.
Explain insurance benefits, financial responsibility, and other clinic policies to patient families.
Communicate with early intervention referral sources, physician offices, and manage therapists' caseloads.
Coordinate with the biller by making follow up calls to patient families and insurance companies.
Distributing patient referrals according to therapist's openings and treatment areas.
Skills and Work
Experience:
(EMR) Electronic Medical Record Systems experience is a must Insurance benefit verification Basic knowledge of pediatric therapies Effective Communication Skills and organization Job Types:
