We provide hosting, development, networking, and IT managed services to a wide range of clients in the Chicagoland area.
We are looking for a highly organized and self-motivated individual to work in our fast-paced environment as a Helpdesk Technician.
As a Helpdesk Technician at Realnets, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional technical support to our clients.
You will be the front line of IT assistance, resolving technical issues, and ensuring our clients' systems run smoothly.
Consulting is a fast-paced space with excellent opportunities to work with businesses in all sectors and technologies.
The candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate highly technical information to multiple departments throughout our organization and to our clients.

Key
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues - Respond to help desk tickets and resolve user problems in a timely manner - Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software - Assist with the setup and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, routers, and switches - Collaborate with other IT team members to analyze and resolve complex technical issues - Create and update documentation for IT processes and procedures - Assist with user training on software applications and systems Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac OS operating systems - Experience with Active Directory administration - Familiarity with Office suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Understanding of computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques - Knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP) - Ability to analyze technical problems and provide effective solutions - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong customer service orientation Note:
Experience with Linux is a plus.
