Provide professional advice and consultation to department management in the daily execution and delivery of Human Resources deliverables. Consult and partner with department management in the areas of employee relations, investigations, performance management, employee development, and employee communications. Plan, manage and control human resources programs and processes within assigned group(s) to ensure effective and efficient human resources support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Provides comprehensive HR support to assigned group(s) in the areas of:
Employee relations
Performance management
Compensation analysis and recommendations
Recruiting
Compliance management
Investigations
Functions as a business partner and advocate by helping to identify & direct solutions to business needs, while ensuring the efficient, compliant delivery of HR programs and services.
Works to identify and resolve actual and potential employee problems through the analysis of performance appraisals, counseling, and ongoing coaching sessions, as well as through insights gained from direct support activity and contact with associates and managers.
Administers various human resources plans and procedures for assigned group(s) interprets Employee Handbook and policies and procedures manual; advises management on employee's changes, disciplinary actions, recognition, etc.
Participates in developing department goals and objectives
SUPERVISION
May supervise Human Resources Assistant or Receptionist
RELATIONSHIPS
Internal:
HR management and staff, client group - ranging from hourly associates to
SVP and regional staff.
External:
Job candidates, employment agencies, government agencies, third-party service providers
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required. PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
Related Experience

Three to five years of HR generalist experience.
Prior experience working with legislation concerning employment, ADA, FMLA, EEOC, FLSA and Title VII.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Demonstrated leadership ability and skills to build strong client relationships; must be able to interact directly with clients to establish trust, build consensus and execute creative solutions.
Strong sense of customer service, excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Management skills in coaching and performance management
Proficient in the advanced functions of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word;
Physical Requirements
Normal office environment with limited physical activity

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
