Manager Patient Centered Outcomes Research

Overview The Patient Centered Outcomes Research (PCOR) Manager is an experienced research leader operating autonomously and in collaboration with other investigators. In this capacity, the PCOR manager facilitates patient centered outcomes research to identify, develop, and lead academic, industry, and locally sponsored clinical outcomes research, with the aim of advancing scientific evidence to advance care for patients and their health care providers. Qualifications Master's degree in relevant area required, PhD preferred. 3-5 years relevant experience in field of research as administrator and/or investigator in a health care or university environment 2-4 years management experience leading diverse teams Relevant experience mentoring investigators/teams in study design and conduct of statistical analyses Experience in leading, planning, design, conduct, and dissemination of observational, implementation, and/or interventional   Knowledgeable of pertinent research federal and state regulatory guidelines Experience running analyses using SPSS or SAS Experience in data management and database development Experience in grant writing and in securing research funds from foundations, corporations and government sources Experience with publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations Knowledge and understanding of research design, methods and statistics Responsibility, Authority, Reporting Relationship The Patient Centered Outcomes Research (PCOR) Manager is a visible leadership position responsible for the overall planning and implementation of investigator-initiated research at the assigned research center (for these purposes a research center can serve a site, institute or service line). Collaborates with investigators (i.e., physicians, nurses, administrators, fellows etc.), research teams and program staff in the design and conduct of patient centered outcomes research by providing methodological guidance and analytic support to achieve project, program and center strategic objectives. The Manager supports the Director of Research by providing leadership and guidance in the development of new approaches, methodologies and metrics related to new programs and initiatives at the center and to improve efficiency and effectiveness of organizational strategic outcomes for patient centered outcomes research. Provides direction, mentoring, and analytic and database support to researchers who are developing, conducting and interpreting research and is involved in teaching, grant and manuscript writing =. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
